💡 Thought of the Week

I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions in my personal life lately.

And this morning, on my way to a meeting, something clicked.

It led me to this question I want to ask you:

If you had to choose…
Would you rather go through life feeling only a little?
A little sadness. A little happiness.
Nothing too deep. Nothing too real. Just… mild.

Or…

Would you rather feel the full range of life?
Big joy. Big love. Big awe.
But also, big grief. Big frustration. Big heartbreak.

For me, the answer is clear.
I want to feel it all.

If I want to experience deep love, real passion, and belly-laugh joy,
I have to be willing to feel the harder stuff too.
That’s the cost of truly living.

And when I think of it like that, the hard emotions don’t feel quite so scary.
They feel more like signs that I’m alive. That I’m open.
That I’m human.

So if you’re feeling heavy this week, maybe even cracked open by this season of life, try gently telling yourself:

“This is what being alive feels like.”
Then let that feeling rise and fall like a wave.
It won’t stay forever. None of them do.

Just something to think about.
