Every Thursday, I send a short note to the caregivers on my list.
The Dementia Dose is free. It arrives every Thursday.
Sometimes it's about a dementia behavior that makes more sense once you understand what's happening in the brain. Sometimes it's something I've been thinking about, something I keep hearing from caregivers, or a reminder I think you may need that week.
Here's one I sent recently.

Subject: [DD] When they ask the same question over and over
Careblazer,
My dad used to tell the same stories over and over.
His time in the Army. His days playing in the band. The same jokes. The exact same jokes, again and again.
And I'll be honest.
There were times I had to fake a laugh.
There were times I wanted to scream on the inside because I had already heard the story so many times.
Not because I didn't love him.
Not because the story didn't matter.
But because repetition can wear on you in a way that's hard to explain unless you've lived it.
Something practical, thoughtful, or timely about dementia caregiving.
Often a new video or resource if you want more.
A one-click poll so you can share your experience and see how other caregivers answered.
I'm Dr. Natali Edmonds, a board-certified geropsychologist.
I've spent my career working with people living with dementia and the families caring for them, and I created Dementia Careblazers because families need practical help they can actually use in real life.
I write every Dementia Dose myself.
More than 80,000 caregivers get it every Thursday.
